About this role

About Glean:

Glean is the Work AI platform that helps everyone work smarter with AI. What began as the industry’s most advanced enterprise search has evolved into a full-scale Work AI ecosystem, powering intelligent Search, an AI Assistant, and scalable AI agents on one secure, open platform. With over 100 enterprise SaaS connectors, flexible LLM choice, and robust APIs, Glean gives organizations the infrastructure to govern, scale, and customize AI across their entire business - without vendor lock-in or costly implementation cycles.

At its core, Glean is redefining how enterprises find, use, and act on knowledge. Its Enterprise Graph and Personal Knowledge Graph map the relationships between people, content, and activity, delivering deeply personalized, context-aware responses for every employee. This foundation powers Glean’s agentic capabilities - AI agents that automate real work across teams by accessing the industry’s broadest range of data: enterprise and world, structured and unstructured, historical and real-time. The result: measurable business impact through faster onboarding, hours of productivity gained each week, and smarter, safer decisions at every level.

Recognized by Fast Company as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies (Top 10, 2025), by CNBC’s Disruptor 50, Bloomberg’s AI Startups to Watch (2026), Forbes AI 50, and Gartner’s Tech Innovators in Agentic AI, Glean continues to accelerate its global impact. With customers across 50+ industries and 1,000+ employees in more than 25 countries, we’re helping the world’s largest organizations make every employee AI-fluent, and turning the superintelligent enterprise from concept into reality.

If you’re excited to shape how the world works, you’ll help build systems used daily across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ServiceNow, Zendesk, GitHub, and many more. You'll be deeply embedded where people get things done. You'll ship agentic capabilities on an open, extensible stack, with the craft and care required for enterprise trust, as we bring Work AI to every employee, in every company.

About the Role

Glean is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to own and grow our organic social presence across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You'll be the voice behind Glean's brand channels and a key partner to our executives and technical leaders, turning product launches, company moments, and market conversations into content that educates, celebrates, and inspires the use of Work AI.

This is a hands-on role for someone who moves fluidly between real-time execution (live-posting a launch event) and longer-range program building (scaling an employee advocacy program, standing up a technical social-listening motion). You'll report to the Director of Communications and work closely with Product Marketing, Content & Thought Leadership, PR, Sales, and R&D to make sure Glean shows up consistently and credibly everywhere our audience is paying attention.

You Will:

• Own Glean's always-on content calendar and organic social strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, aligned to our content pillars: educate, celebrate, and inspire the use of Glean's Work AI platform.

• Create and edit lightweight, platform-native multimedia content - including short-form video, clips, graphics, and other social-first assets - using tools such as Capcut, Canva, or other.

• Manage executive social media presence for Glean's CEO and other company spokespeople — ghostwriting, scheduling, and coordinating posts that tie technical and company narratives to the broader Work AI story.

• Lead live social coverage for major company moments, including product launches, Monthly Drops, and flagship events (e.g., Glean:GO), publishing and amplifying content in real time across channels.

• Own and scale Glean's employee advocacy program (currently run via Oktopost) — onboarding and training advocates, curating ready-to-share content, managing the licensing/vendor relationship and renewals, and reporting on reach, engagement, and pipeline attribution (in partnership with Sales/SFDC).

• Build and run a technical social-listening and rapid-response motion (e.g., a "Glean Gurus"-style program) with R&D and PMM, surfacing and engaging in relevant conversations on X, Reddit, and other technical forums.

• Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement to train employees on social best practices and personal branding, and run onboarding sessions on how to engage safely and effectively on behalf of the brand.

• Manage relationships with outside agencies or contractors supporting content production, cross-posting, and coverage during high-volume periods.

• Track and report on social performance (reach, engagement, follower growth, and pipeline/revenue influence) and translate insights into content and channel strategy recommendations.

• Monitor brand sentiment and competitive conversation, applying sound judgment on when and how to engage, and act as a first line of defense on social-related reputational risk.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Communications, PR, Product Marketing, Content & Thought Leadership, and R&D to ensure social amplifies — and helps shape — the broader company narrative.

About You:

• 6+ years of experience managing organic social media for a B2B or enterprise technology/SaaS brand, ideally with direct ownership of a corporate LinkedIn and X presence.

• Experience managing or ghostwriting for executive social accounts, with strong instincts for voice, tone, and what's appropriate to post on a leader's behalf.

• Experience running or scaling an employee advocacy or social amplification program (e.g., Oktopost, EveryoneSocial, GaggleAMP) with measurable results.

• Comfort operating in real time — live-posting events, responding quickly to trending conversations, and making fast, sound judgment calls under time pressure.

• Strong writing skills and an editorial eye, with the ability to translate technical or dense product content into clear, platform-native copy.

• A data-driven approach to social, with experience using analytics tools to measure performance and tie social activity to pipeline or business outcomes.

• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Communications, PR, Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering/R&D stakeholders.

• Strong technical fluency, with the ability to quickly understand complex AI, product, and engineering concepts and translate them into accurate, accessible, and compelling social content.

• Vendor and budget management experience (agencies, social tooling contracts) is a plus.

Location:

• This role is hybrid (4 days a week in our Mountain View or San Francisco office).

• Availability for occasional evening/early-morning coverage around major launches and events.
