Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of torchlane.ai, academy.torchlane.ai and related services provided by Torchlane, a brand of Meridius LLC ("Torchlane", "we", "us"). By using our websites, submitting an application or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Using our websites

Use our websites only for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with their security or operation, try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or submit false information. We may suspend access that breaks these Terms.

Applications

Submitting an application does not guarantee admission or a call. We review applications in our discretion. Information on our pages about roles and pay in the market describes the market, not what program participants earn. We do not promise any job, salary, raise or promotion.

Enrollment

If you enroll in a paid program, your enrollment agreement and the terms you accept at checkout govern the program, including price, access, refunds and any guarantee. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the enrollment terms control.

SMS Terms

• Program. Torchlane application and call updates: text messages from Torchlane (Meridius LLC) about your application, your call time and reminders, and, if you enroll, account notices.
• Opting in. You opt in by ticking the optional text message box on our application, or a similar box on a booking form, and giving your mobile number. Consent is not a condition of applying or buying.
• Message frequency varies. Most people receive a few messages in the week around a booked call.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one message confirming you are unsubscribed. Reply START to subscribe again.
• Help. Reply HELP, or email admissions@torchlane.ai.
• Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

Content and intellectual property

Our websites, course materials and branding belong to Meridius LLC or its licensors. You may use them only as these Terms or your enrollment terms allow. Work you create in the program remains yours, subject to any terms in your enrollment agreement.

Disclaimers

Our websites are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Market data, examples and articles are for information only.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Meridius LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our websites, and its total liability for any claim about the websites is limited to $100. This section does not limit rights you have under your enrollment agreement or that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use our websites after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
